Dominique is acting as Chief Compliance Officer at Optimum Quantvest. She is also acting as Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel of the affiliate investment adviser in Canada.

She has over 30 years of experience in the legal field, specifically in business law, commercial law and securities law. Before joining Optimum, Ms. Fortin practiced in a private practice as a partner in business law with two national law firms, then joined the legal department of two listed companies as Director of Legal Affairs and Assistant Corporate Secretary.

She also previously acted as Senior Legal Advisor in the wealth management team of a leading financial institution, as legal advisor in a large insurance company and as Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Officer of a company operating in the financial services sector.

Dominique is responsible for all aspects related to the Company’s compliance and for supporting operations from a legal point of view.
